gth-2023-presidents

Dear colleagues, dear friends of haemostaseology,

It is our sincere pleasure to invite you on behalf of the GTH to the scientific meeting in Frankfurt am Main from February 21st to 24th, 2023.

After 25 years, our annual meeting will once again take place in the Rhine-Main metropolis, located in the green heart of Germany, in one of the largest and most modern trade fairs in Europe, the Messe Frankfurt. The hotels and the diverse, culturally interesting venues of the varied supporting programme are mostly within walking distance.

There has been a groundbreaking increase in knowledge in haemostaseology in recent years, both preclinically in basic research and clinically with the development of innovative treatment strategies.

Programme

This year’s GTH programme is dedicated to the theme “New concepts for a lifetime challenge”. In numerous and thematically wide-ranging lectures, symposia and discussions, top-level speakers will present relevant information and the latest findings in the field of thrombosis and haemostasis research. There will also be active and interactive sessions, ‘for and against’ debates, and topic-specific workshops.

LOCATION

Frankfurt has a long tradition as an important city – in the Middle Ages, German emperors were crowned here. Today, Frankfurt is Germany’s most important business metropolis. We are pleased to invite you to Frankfurt for GTH 2023. Not only will you benefit from a first-class congress infrastructure, but you will also find yourself on ground steeped in history with a diverse range of cultural and epicurean opportunities to explore.
